Extending the Grid

The ideas behind this work grew from an awareness of digital technologies that are playing a large part in today’s creativity. My own practice emerges from a process that engages with the physical properties of material combined with concepts. The resulting work has the visual reference to today's means of production, where the keyboard in all its guises is today's tool to access information and communicate, and where the grid represents modernity and appears to reject the natural world.
